Hansa Shopping Center is continuously being transformed according to modern requirements. The Antintalo part has undergone an extensive renovation and is now housing The Mega Intersport -store with 2000m2 in the basement-floor and 250m2 on street level, and then also shops like Vagabond, Click Shoes, Carlings, Brothers etc. Client Veritas.
In 2008 the Thalia part was fully transformed, practically every square meter was rebuilt. Today the new modern premises are leased to Lindex, Marimekko, Jack&Jones, Viking Line, The Kauppatori Pharmacy etc. The Thalia plaza is now more spacious and passable than before.

The collaboration with owners to Hansa-properties continues.
In 2009 Stiftelsen för Åbo Akademi became the new owner of the Kultatalo-building, situated in the absolute center of Turku, facing the market place. The building will be completely refurbished and the interiors rebuilt.
In march 2012 the renovation will be completed and then the Kultatalo will surely attract lots of new customers as the most fashionable and most magnetic part of the Hansa Shopping Center.
Then, with new shops and business new activities, Kultatalo will represent a commercially and architecturally functional unit, which will furthermore confirm the position of the Hansa Shopping Center as the most attractive shopping mall in the Turku region.
